Welcome to the 2010 football season. For all the new parents this is the weekly newsletter that will be sent home with your child. Please refer to this for all important team information.
Round Robin
Round Robin will be held at Millswood Middle School in Lodi on Saturday August 7th. This is mandatory weigh-ins for all players, you must be there! Tentative times are as follows,
Starts - 7:30 am
Rookies - 9:10 am
JV - 10:50 am
Varsity - 12:30 pm
These times are subject to change, so please check next week’s newsletter for official times and also directions to the school.
Fundraisers
Cookie dough sales will continue until Friday August 6th. Please be prepared to turn in all monies and forms this night. Also this is our mandatory fundraiser so each family is required to sell 10 items or “buy out” at $50. Each player/cheerleader who sells 20 will receive a gear bag (football) or stadium blanket (cheer). The top 2 sellers for the organization will win an iPod shuffle.
Raider’s tickets are still on sale also. Ticket prices are $40 or $45 each.

Parent Volunteers
Parent volunteers needed!! We need all parents to take a few moments to come sign up for your volunteer spot in the Snack Shack. It is mandatory all parents sign up for 1 spot per child. We can’t do it without you! Please see Tabetha Willmon or Michelle Kerin to sign up today.
2nd Annual Picture Day BBQ
We will once again be holding our annual picture day barbeque. We will be selling presale tickets next week during practice. Tri tip sandwich or hot dog meals, meals include; main item, chips, cookie, and drink. Tri tip meals will be sold for $8 or hot dog meals for $5. Be sure to buy early, only a small amount will be available for purchase day of. Don’t be left out!!
Reminders
Parents please make sure you are parking in the parent parking lot. The gated area in front of the school is reserved for badged coaches, board members, and the handicapped only. Please make sure to pick up all trash and water bottles before leaving. We are guest at Estrellita High School and don’t want to leave our mess behind.
Please be advised that we have noticed a large tick population on and around the practice field. Be sure to check yourself and your player for any strays. The staff at Estrellita has been notified of the problem. Until the issue is resolved you may want to use a personal bug spray with tick defense in it.
